I actually read this book twice. It is a very current look at the real circumsatnce of a single mother coming into her own awareness and maturity. All while raising her son that is wise beyond his years. This was an unexpectedly engaging, funny and emotionally charged book to read. It brought me back to some of the life definig moment in my life. I hope that you guys enjoy it. I am going to buy some more copies. This would make a great read for the holidays.

I can’t wait to read this book. When Tai initially started her blog on this topic, it was so captivating and inspiring. It is so funny too. I highly recommend this book.

    Yes, yes, and yes!!!
Saw the book on my co-workers Megan desk, picked it up and opened to the middle, started reading and couldn’t put it down!! Love the style and the message so much, decided to only put the book down to go order not one (for me) but two (for my son raising my grandson) and only regret that she didn’t write this book earlier when I was raising my children. Love her Christmas tradition, think I will start grooming my grandson now, I got 11 months! LOL

#LunchboxChronicles This book is effing amazing! To all the Mothers struggling to get important messages across to their young African American sons, this is the book for you. I am a new mother to a baby boy who will one day grow up and face this cruel world. I know I have to do everything I can to prepare him for what’s coming, I just didn’t know how. Tai discusses things with her son that some of our parents just simply didn’t know how to say. The dialogue is funny as hell yall! #LunchboxChronicles has to be one of the most genuine books I’ve ever read. S/o to My Cousin Tiff for introducing this book to me & Tai you’re awesome! I love your relationship with your son, you’re doing an amazing job as a mother & entrepreneur! #BlackGirlMagic ✨

This was an amazing book. It was well written and so relatable. Every person should read this book whether they think they could relate or not. It’s a book for all cultures and it stresses the importance of “it takes a village to raise a child “. We are all apart of the impressions of these young minds. Good job Tai!

Amazing…definitely a must read! I look forward to sharing this all of the parents in my group. I wonder what would happen if we begin to change our mindset. We can’t be afraid to educate our children about the reality that they are now living. Great job Tai!
